The types of care available include:

Emergency and Out Of Hours Admissions – a 24-hour service for urgent placements when it is clear that, in the short term, the child cannot remain in their current placement due to circumstances such as a breakdown of a current placement or fears for the child’s safety and there is no other suitable alternative placement available at that time.

Planned Admissions – our best practice service for the placement of children involving the scheduled transfer from an existing placement, including a consultation process to agree a care plan, which will identify the objectives of the placement and the strategy for achieving them. Where appropriate the placing Social Worker and the child concerned are encouraged to visit Clifford House as part of the admission process.
