About Us

Clifford House was founded in 1989 and is a nationally recognised organisation offering flexible packages of residential care, foster care and education to children and young people with complex emotional problems and related behavioural difficulties.

Our philosophy is based on the belief that there is a better way to care for young people who have experienced trauma than to place them in large groups with other damaged youngsters.

We believe that the needs of our young people can best be addressed by using a good parenting model and providing a safe, secure environment in typical family houses that accommodate between 1-4 individuals.

Our resources are based in the counties of Herefordshire, Worcestershire, Shropshire, Warwickshire and Powys.
A staff team is employed to meet the demand for quality care and education for young people.
